Editorial Policy
Canadian Coin Heads is built for collectors who want clear sourcing, careful wording, and a simple way to check what was used to write each page. This policy explains how we research, review, update, and correct our static guide content.
What We Publish
We publish collector guides, reference pages, and static support content about Canadian coins, bullion, grading, and market context. We avoid pretending to be an authority we are not: we are an independent collector resource, not the Royal Canadian Mint, NGC, PCGS, ICCS, or any government body.
How We Research
We prefer primary or directly attributable sources when possible. That includes the Royal Canadian Mint, grading-service documentation, official program pages, and market references that can be checked by readers. When we summarize a source, we keep the claim close to the source wording and link out where practical.
How We Review
We review claims for internal consistency, collector usefulness, and clear entity naming. Public-facing counts and labels should use consistent language across the site, especially when describing the database, series, and major Canadian issuers.
How We Correct
If we find a mistake, we update the relevant page and tighten the wording so readers can see the corrected version without hunting through the site. When a value, mintage, fee, or product detail changes often, we encourage readers to verify the source directly before acting on it.
Editorial Tools
We use internal editorial tools to organize drafts and flag inconsistencies, but every public page is reviewed against source material before publication. Names, dates, counts, and claims should be checked against human-readable references, and any estimate or interpretation should be labeled plainly.
Updates And Disclosures
We may revise pages as new coins are added to the database, official mint programs change, or market context shifts. Canadian Coin Heads is independent and may link to external resources for education and verification. Those links do not imply endorsement.
